"Apa beza ketiak wanita berhijab dengan ketiak wanita freehair?" wrote a netizen on X a day ago, upon seeing a brand's deodorant line with selling point being 'Hijab Natural'.
In a post being circulated among Malaysians, user @maxwalden_ shared a photo of the brand's product on X.

Malaysians who came across this post, found it to be ridiculous that there would be a difference between a normal deodorant and a hijab natural deodorant!
Seeing that the place of application isn't anywhere near or related to wearing a hijab.
Some reactions include;

Besides the odd marketing, netizens also pointed out that the price of the product is significantly higher than the other deodorants.
We use to have Pink Price Tag. And now, I notice they wrap everything up for those who wear hijabs and slap higher prices. https://t.co/0oTkhlsUzC

On websites, the product description includes "Rexona Hijab Natural is specially formulated for hijabis because it contains fresh peach fruit which functions as an antioxidant which is rich in benefits that can help prevent irritation and body odor and cooling mint which can provide a fresh, anti-hot sensation for up to 72 hours."
Though we are still unsure how does this aim to be a hit among hijabis or Muslim women, we hope that it helps make you feel all minty fresh!
