If you're a Money Heist fan and also a K-drama fan, you're going to want to be seated while hearing this news. The Korean remake of Money Heist is set to be released on the 25th of June 2022! That is like a month away!
While having similar but vague concepts from the original Spanish Money Heist, Money Heist: Korea is more of a fresh take on the series. Also, you won't be seeing the Salvador Dalí masks in this series because it is set in Korea so they will be sporting traditional Hahoe masks instead.
It is set in a time when North and South Korea are on the verge of a peaceful reunification after nearly 80 years of division. The heist takes place just as the nations prepare to print a brand-new unified currency. The Professor, a genius strategist assembles a team of high-profile thieves from the north and south with a plan to steal the new currency straight from the mint.
