According to Harian Metro, at 9:30 pm on June 25, 2024, a 24-year-old Malaysian man went to a tattoo shop and wanted to have a floral pattern tattooed on his right hand.
It is understood that when the tattoo artist started tattooing the man, he applied a kind of "oil" on him, and he then lost consciousness and fainted.
When he woke up, he found that all his clothes had been taken off and he felt pain in his anus. Suspecting that he had been sodomized, he immediately left the store.
Petaling Jaya police district chief Shahrulnizam Jaafar said the victim lodged a police report before receiving treatment at the University Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM).
Police arrested a 37-year-old local male suspect near Sungai Way at 12:05am on June 26 and detained him for four days to assist in investigations.
According to Harian Metro, police are currently trying to identify the substance the suspect used to render the victim unconscious.
Police have collected DNA samples from the victim and are also checking CCTV footage from the scene to assist in the investigation.
In this regard, the police are investigating under Section 377B of the Penal Code, which stipulates that anyone who commits an unnatural sexual act is liable to a maximum sentence of 20 years' jail and caning.
We hope the police can find out the truth as soon as possible.
