A touching story shared by a gold shop on TikTok has gone viral, capturing the hearts of many online. The video, posted by TikTok account @kedaiemasmunawara, recounts the experience of a woman who survived the tragic fire incident in Putra Heights but lost almost everything in the blaze.

According to the shop, the woman came to their premises clutching only a few banknotes and some gold jewelry the only possessions she had managed to save from the fire. The gold shop revealed that she wanted to clean the jewelry pieces that had survived the ordeal, hoping to restore them despite the damage.

"These are the only belongings that survived," shared the shop in the video. "There were many heartbreaking stories told by residents around Putra Heights. They are still able to smile despite the challenges they are facing."

The shop explained the process of cleaning and restoring the gold, which included removing explosion marks and returning the pieces to their original color. "Alhamdulillah, we were able to help in any way we could," they added.

After the careful cleaning process, the jewelry was visibly restored to a gleaming, like-new condition a small but significant victory for someone who had lost almost everything.

The TikTok caption included a message of sympathy: "Condolences to all the victims involved in the gas explosion in Putra Heights. May all matters be eased." 

It was later revealed that the woman had stored her gold jewelry in an aluminum box, which remarkably prevented the items from melting in the extreme heat. During the incident, flames reportedly reached up to 30 meters high, with temperatures soaring to a staggering 1,000 degrees Celsius.

The story resonated deeply with netizens, many of whom expressed sympathy and heartbreak in the comments. Some also shared that they were inspired by the womans experience and planned to purchase gold as a form of long-term savings.
