Malaysian passengers boarding the MAS airlines from Phuket to KL recently suffered a traumatic event after a number of them suffered panic attacks and suffocation due to air conditioning malfunction.
According to one of the passengers onboard that flight, they were not allowed to exit the airplane by the cabin crews despite the passengers begging them to as they had started to experience difficulties in breathing. A few of the passengers ended up fainting and they were instructed to leave the plane at the end.
Based on the videos posted on TikTok, the flight resumed eventually, althought all passengers had to brace through the flight without proper working air conditioning.
TikTok users commented on the videos posted saying they've also experienced similar incident while boarding MAS Airlines.
MAS Airlines has not issued a statement.
