What was intended to be a cute surprise for a diligent worker has turned into a tear-jerking moment that has gained over 483k views online!
The mobile network operator company Tune Talks employees arranged a sweet birthday surprise for their security guard with a mini chocolate cake and Happy Birthday tunes sung in unison. The security guard was evidently caught off guard and moments later, he can be seen wiping off his tears.
Visibly touched, the security guard revealed that he has been working in Malaysia for eight years and this is the first time that his birthday is celebrated in such a way.
Foreign workers are often overlooked in this country and it is refreshing to see them appreciated and celebrated in a place far from home.
