A pedestrian endured severe injuries after becoming trapped beneath a BMW car on Sultan Iskandar Street, Ipoh, last night. The Perak Fire and Rescue Department's Assistant Director of Operations, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, revealed that the victim, identified as 34-year-old Hemananth Tamil Selvan, suffered serious injuries in an incident allegedly involving a BMW.
The department received information about the incident at 9:24 PM, prompting the dispatch of members from the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) to the scene.
Upon arrival, it was determined that the accident involved a collision between a BMW car and a male pedestrian. The victim was trapped under the vehicle, sustaining severe injuries, while the female driver emerged unscathed, as reported in a statement issued late at night.
Firefighters promptly extricated the trapped pedestrian and handed him over to the Malaysian Ministry of Health (KKM) personnel for further medical care.
