Let's be completely honest, 2020 and 2021 wasn't really a great year for most people in relationships. The lockdown caused more breakups than cheating ever did and it also brought a huge drought in our sex lives. 

The whole no touching, 1 meter apart and anyone could have the virus thing made it really hard for us to get up close and personal in the bedroom. So despite the real life floods, there hasn't been rain in our sex lives for a long while and it is getting scary. 

But hey, the new year is here and it brings new hope and new beginnings. Let's find out if it can resuscitate our almost non-existent sex lives.

According to your zodiac signs and some of mysterious astrological events that we don't understand but believe in, here's what your sex life is going to look like in 2022, fingers crossed for heavy rains, iykwim:

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

You'll be having some good luck and energy from May to October, so if you want something or should I say someone, go get them because the universe is in your favour. However, in October, you might be feeling a little off but hey, good news is, the first 9 months of 2022 your sex life is going to be smooth sailing. 

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

The start of the year won't really be a good time for you to look for new sex partners because Venus will be moving backwards in the sky. But the good thing about this time is that you can reflect and think about what you really seek for in your love and sex lives. You might get some good answers since Venus will be close to Pluto which means dig deep and really look at your unconscious desires. 

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Sadly, the year will start off rather slowly for you but June 22 marks the beginning of 3 weeks of sex, desire and love for you. Then in October when you should start doing a deep dive into your sexual desires and schedule time for some self-play and exploration. Looks like #NoNutNovember is cancelled for the Geminis!

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

New year = good sexual energy. You will be more focused on yourself and your own personal development, but that will definitely not affect your sex life. July and August are going to get super hot and spicy for you and August 7th is your lucky day. Wow, Cancer is truly out of the drought is you ask me!

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22)

Apparently spring is the season for your because not only will flowers be blooming but so will your sex life. Starting from March 6th and continuing on for 6 weeks, you will be having a super high sex drive so be ready with lot of water and a partner that's great in bed. It's going to be a sexy 6 weeks. 

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)

The doctor is in and is working overtime because your sex life will be resuscitated in January and it won't rest till May. Jupiter is the doctor and the doctor will be activating your zone of relationships and even expanding your sex lives. So, set some big sexual goals and Dr. Jupiter will help you achieve them. 

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)

Mars and your ruling planet Venus will be entering your “sex zone” on March 6 and this makes Venus really happy (hmm.. I wonder why) so you can expects some fun and excitement in your sex life too. Since Mars will be there too, March will be all about sex but Venus will move on after March so make sure you fully indulge yourself in the fun and excitement of your sex lives in March. 

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)

Starting July 5, those in relationships can expect a lot of sex during this period and those who are single will suddenly get the power to woo and charm literally anyone, so let's just say you'll be having lots of sex too. But don't worry because you'll have rain in your sex lives almost throughout the year from January to May, then this July period again in October to December. 

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)

2022 will start off with your passion and libido switches turned on. And they will stay on and on high levels until January 24th. Seriously though enjoy it while its lasts because in October, Mars will go retrograde in your relationship zone, so you might finish off 2022 in a drought again.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)

Starting January 24th, your sex life will be on the highest level possible. Capricorns will have an overall good year when it comes to sex because Mars is said to be exalted in Capricorn. You'll be more connected with your earthy more primal instincts. In the winter time, other will be going through the worst parts of winter but you'll be nice and warm with all the steamy sex. 

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)

The whole of 2022, the planet of restrictions, Saturn will be in your sign so that will really put a dampener on everything that's fun and sex is fun so put two and two together. Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20)

You'll be having a great year! Jupiter and Neptune will be in your sign for most of the year, and the sky is the limit for you!  Indulge yourself in your wildest dreams and deepest desires. April 12 is the day they meet at the same exact point in the sky, so maybe you and your partner take the day off and spend it with each other "Netflix and chilling".
