The Malaysia Prime Minister has announced on May 1 that the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) will begin on May 4. Although many sectors are granted permission to resume operation, there are Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) set by the government to follow.
McDonald's too made its announcement on its
Facebook page yesterday (May 2) that the dine-in areas will remain closed on May 4.
The caption of the post goes:
"Dear Valued Customers,
We can’t welcome you back to Dine-In yet as the safety of Malaysians is still our main priority. You can still enjoy your favorite McD meals through our convenient McDelivery, Drive-Thru, and Take-away, 8 am to 10 pm daily from 4th May onwards. #SafeWithMekdi"
Although the dine-in option is closed, Malaysians could still enjoy McDonald's through McDelivery, drive-thru, and take away. But do take note of the operation hours as timing may differ by state.
The government may have granted some sectors permission to operate, but it still solely depends on the company and decision-maker! So stay safe guys.
Always remember to:
- Wear your face mask
- Wash your hands
- Social distancing
