The third phase will be coming to an end next Tuesday (April 28), however, Malaysians are starting to question: Will there be another 2-week extension?
According to China Press, the Health Director-General, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said that the Ministry of Health (MoH) will be reporting all data collected to the Malaysian Prime Minister 2-4 days before April 28.

They would also follow the guidelines given by the World Health Organization (WHO), and the decision of whether or not to extend the Movement Control Order (MCO) will be made by the government.
"We need to control the confirmed cases, including asymptomatic patients, we will send them to the hospital until they are tested negative for COVID-19," he added.
Dr. Noor Hisham expressed that although the current daily increment of COVID-19 cases maintained at double-digit, the confirmed cases on Wednesday have 40 local cases. Hence, the MoH still needs to work hard in fighting the disease and to reduce the daily increment cases to a single-digit.
