ICYMI: WATCH: Mysterious Kitten Sees Car Owner Making Two Trips To The Mechanic In Order To Free Him
The ease of having things delivered right to our doors in the era of internet shopping is accompanied by an expectation of professionalism and consideration from the delivery personnel is something we're so used to.
But a recent incident that was caught on a Reddit user's closed-circuit television (CCTV) has brought to light the concerning lack of consideration that some delivery staff members have for the property of their customers.
The event, which was documented by u/RespectPretty4929, started when their CCTV camera showed a delivery worker handling their package so carelessly.

"The driver merely threw the package with needless force onto the ground rather than taking a few extra steps to put it in a safer spot, like a bench or a shoe rack. What followed was a swift act of karma as a nearby dog seized the opportunity and snatched the parcel," the individual wrote.
The user was infuriated by the lack of consideration shown, even though the delivery man was able to recover the package after a short chase.
"The e-commerce platform should act and, generally speaking, reevaluate its relationship with its delivery providers. It's evident that nothing has been done to guarantee that such a careless act is stopped, despite their prior promises. This attitude is inappropriate and shows a lack of professionalism, even though I recognise that delivery staff may have hectic days and quotas to meet. An act of this nature has no justification. In addition to being quite pricey, the object in issue was also delicate and prone to breaking. This act has astonished and left me speechless."
"I tried to talk to the delivery man about the problem, but he just disregarded me and didn't say sorry or anything in response."
Other Reddit users reacted negatively to the delivery man's careless behaviour.
A request is made by user u/KamenUncle to ban the delivery man.
The user said, "This kind of behaviour cannot be accepted nor forgiven."
Meanwhile, u/Whusler, another user, also reported having a negative delivery service experience.
"Things get even more absurd if you live in a condominium. The guard won't even let them put your package at the guard house (which includes food delivery) or bring it up to your unit since COVID time because they don't want to take responsibility for the missing package."
