The Minister of Defense, Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob stated that interstate travel remained prohibited during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), however, it is allowed from May 7 to 10 ONLY, with a restricted time of travel, according to Sin Chew Daily.

He urged those who wanted to return to work cities but did not apply for interstate travel permit through the Gerak Malaysia app to apply at the nearby police station. Make sure to download and print out your application before going to the police station for submission.
"(Approved or not) It depends on the discretion of the police," he added.
