It was learned that there was a possible cluster detected at Cheras mall, as announced by the Health Director-General, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah yesterday (May 7) on his daily updates of COVID-19 situation in Malaysia.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) too tweeted a post on its Twitter, mentioning this cluster.

Sehingga 7 Mei 2020 jam 12 tengah hari, sebanyak
sepuluh kes positif COVID-19 telah dilaporkan dalam kluster ini
Dr. Noor Hisham too revealed that the 10 positive cases from this cluster, included 9 Nepalese and 1 Malaysian. All 10 of them are security guards at the mall. Meanwhile, the source of infection of this cluster is still under investigation with ongoing screening and testing that involved all workers of the mall.
It was disclosed that the MoH has tested 436 people, up till now. From these 436 people, 10 were tested positive and 347 were tested negative. While 79 people are still waiting for their result, as reported in The Star.
