A video of a teenage boy violently assaulting his mother in Shandong, China, has sparked widespread outrage after it was shared on Douyin. The incident occurred on 15th September outside their home when the boy attacked his mother for refusing to give him money.
The footage shows the teen viciously kicking his mother near a fountain, causing her to fall to the ground. Despite her collapse, the boy continued to stomp on her, disregarding a bystanders attempt to intervene. Even as she tried to stand, the assault persisted.
Security staff eventually stepped in, restraining the boy and contacting the police. Even under restraint, the teen attempted to lunge at his mother again. Police officers arrived and subdued him, with video footage showing the officers forcibly removing him from the scene.
The incident has ignited fury across social media platforms, with many condemning the boy's violent actions.
