A young woman recently took to TikTok to share a harrowing experience of being assaulted by a stranger at the Maluri MRT station in Kuala Lumpur. The incident has since sparked concern, with netizens recounting similar unsettling encounters at the same location.

In a two-minute video, the victim, Tiffany, described how her usual routine turned into a nightmare. According to Tiffany, she had parked her car at the station around 5 p.m. and was walking toward the MRT when an unexpected encounter left her shaken.
"I was just walking to the station when a woman suddenly approached me and slapped my left ear," Tiffany said.
The attack left her momentarily frozen in shock. "It was so painful. I froze in my tracks for five seconds and thought, 'Hell, no. She didn't just attack me in broad daylight?! With people looking on?'"
Although Tiffany wanted to defend herself, the assailant had already fled the scene. She managed to record a brief video of the woman's back as she walked away.
Reflecting on the incident, Tiffany said she never expected something so terrifying to happen in a public space she frequented. "What if she had a weapon? If she had attacked me with something, I might not be here to tell this story."
Tiffany's video has since gone viral, with other social media users sharing their own unsettling experiences at the Maluri MRT station. Some described similar attacks, while others expressed fears about safety at the location.
Following the public outcry, Prasarana, the operator of the MRT network, reached out to Tiffany and assured her that additional security measures have been implemented at the station to prevent future incidents.
