It was also mentioned in the report that 5 men were found wandering the street during this MCO period. They were stopped by the police and were asked to gather in front of the mosque to receive their rotan punishment.
It could be seen in a 26-second video that went viral on social media that a policeman who was holding the cane, canning these offenders after asking for the reason of them wandering.
One of them was canned multiple times as he was laughing while his friends were canned. These offenders were later brought to the police station for further investigation. This incident happened in Kampung Pangi, Sabah.
