A 53-year-old unemployed Penangite was arrested as he was accused of bringing his neighbor's 8-year-old son out and sodomized him.
North Seberang Prai police chief Assistant Commissioner, Noorzainy Mohd Noor, mentioned in Sin Chew Daily that the suspect had brought the victim out for many times, he even stayed a night with the victim in a hotel in Butterworth on one of the outings on March 17.

The accused is now facing 23 sodomy charges.
Noorzainy further disclosed that the 33-year-old mother filed a case in the police station on March 28 after she heard her son's confession. The victim was sent to the hospital for treatment and medical checkup while the suspect was arrested and was scheduled to court today (April 21).
