It has been urged earlier by the Director General of Health, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah that all attendees of the four-day "tabligh" (religious event) gathering that was held from Feb 27 to March 1 at the Masjid Seri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur to contact the district health office and to seek for medical helps if shown any symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) as it has been informed that a 53-year-old Brunei man, one of the attendees, was said to be tested positive for COVID-19 upon returning home from the event.
One of the attendees, a 60-year-old Malaysian man has been tested positive for COVID-19. According to the Director General of Health's Facebook post, the infected patient first showed COVID-19's symptoms on the 4th of March. Symptoms including fever, cough, and flu were shown on the 4th of March. He began to suffer difficulties in breathing and was sent to Hospital Bentong on the 8th of March. He was then referred to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) in Kuantan on the following day.
His result came out on the 10th of March and it was positive. The infected man was now being quarantined and was receiving treatment.
So, all attendees of the above-mentioned event, please, go to the district health office if you were one of the attendees of the above-mentioned event so that the authorities could better control the spread of COVID-19.
