The Thailand Ministry of Public Health pointed out that if the body massage center is allowed to resume operation, it is only allowed for lower body massage, which is body part beneath the waist, as reported in Sin Chew Daily.
The COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand has improved, hence, its government has relaxed its enforcement on the lockdown order. Thus allowing shopping centers, food, and beverage premises, beauty salons to reopen. To this, masseurs have been requesting the government to reopen body massage centers.

The Thailand Ministry of Public Health disclosed on Monday (May 18) that they will be requesting permission to reopen body massage centers under the condition that only lower body massage service is allowed.
The authority too explained that if massage upper body parts, such as the neck, back, shoulder, the customer, and masseurs might face a high risk of infection.
So, lower body massage seems like the only choice they have now, but it's still better than none at all, right?
