A woman from Romania who has recently moved to Kuala Lumpur about a week ago has shared a sweet encounter she had with a Malaysian on her TikTok. In that video, she narrated how she was randomly given a bouquet of red roses by a Malaysian stranger promptly after approaching her whilst on the street. She was then told by the stranger that this occurrence is quite the norm and that Malaysian girls often receive flowers at least once a week.
This little incident got her to conclude that Malaysian girls must be so lucky to be given the princess treatment regularly, even from strangers.
Meanwhile in the comments, many people were rather puzzled as they've never heard of such a thing before. One user commented, "I was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur yet have never received one." The other person said, "Are we living in the same Malaysia?". Others have pointed out that this is simply just another case of pretty privilege on display.
