An occupant of Tropicana Bay Residences, Bayan Lepas has recently been tested positive with Covid-19.
Sanitization process was conducted immediately throughout the affected floor and the unit itself upon the discovery and all maintenance activities are to be suspended following the recent event. The transmission method of which the virus was contracted is yet to be disclosed to the public, but citizens from the nearby areas are advised to restrict their movement for the time being and continue to adhere to strict SOPs.
The affected individual has since been admitted to Penang General Hospital on 11th January 2021 and is currently receiving treatment.
