A harrowing incident unfolded near Manjalara in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, as a driver faced a frightening ordeal when his car was unexpectedly hit and overturned by a reversing lorry at a local gas station.
The incident, taking place on Wednesday, was captured by a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) camera stationed at the gas station, revealing the unfolding events.
The victim, driving a Honda City, was initially observed waiting to exit the gas station onto the main road. However, the tranquility turned into chaos when a lorry at the station abruptly reversed, colliding forcefully with the back of the victim's vehicle.
The investigation into the incident indicated that the lorry driver, transporting iron goods, failed to properly engage the handbrake while parking, leading to this regrettable collision.
