A woman on Twitter was horrified and disgusted after finding out one of her followers had secretly taken photos of her with the intention of sexualising, all without her consent.
The man had sent her a private message along with the pictures he took and proceeded to comment on her body in a distasteful manner, despite the woman wearing proper clothes and a hijab.
The woman uploaded the messages she received on her Twitter to spread awareness on the sexual harassment she received as well as to publicly call out the man on his horrendous act.
Taking pictures of strangers without their consent is already a harmful act by itself but commenting suggestive remarks unannounced is direly offensive.
The argument of clothing often renders invalid when it comes to sexual harassment discourse as despite what a person is wearing, revealing or not, it is not an invitation for harassment.
