Malaysia has denounced the Israeli attack on Palestinians within the Al-Aqsa Mosque that occurred today, in the midst of Ramadan, the holiest month for Muslims.
In addition to reiterating Al-Quds Al-Sharif's status as the Muslim community's holiest place, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said Malaysia stands in solidarity with the people of Palestine.
Anwar urged the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to hold the Israeli government accountable for the attack, which he referred to as a horrific crime.
Ever since the start of Ramadhan, the Israeli forces have launched a violent, unprovoked attack against the Palestinians who attempt to pray inside the Al-Aqsa mosque for seemingly no reason.
This, sadly, has become some sort of a "tradition" by the IDF comes Ramadhan each year.
