Rent is expensive these days, and all Malaysians struggling to live on their own would relate. On top of finding an affordable yet comfortable place to stay, encountering ridiculous landlords could also be one of the difficulties one may face.
A local landlord had recently posted on the Facebook group called "Cyberjaya Room For Rent" looking for tenants in his studio unit in Cyberjaya. However, users began to flood the post, calling him out for his outrageous interior design in trying to squeeze maximum profit by cramming 4 occupants in one studio unit.
One of the users commented, "This looks like a hospital ward!" and others agreed that this isn't really a place fit for staying. They also commented that the rent price stated is ridiculous for the absurd state of the unit. "Not every student could afford a RM500 rent," said others who are also perplexed by the situation.
