When people get married, they normally expect to stay together for the rest of their lives but nowadays, literally anything from cheating to being gay to falling out of love can end your marriage. The sanctity of marriage is lost.
Recently, a woman shared the story of how her marriage ended through a talk show where she revealed that her husband had a relationship with another man which affected her health.
She was initially shocked to find out that her husband was gay and felt unhappy after eight years of marriage.
According to the woman's sharing, she got to know her husband through a third person and a year later, they decided to get engaged and married after getting approvals from both families.
She explained how she had married him because of the blessing given by her parents and not because of love as she did not know the man properly prior to that.
She said that she was not given any "nafkah" throughout the marriage with her husband and she was constantly scolded and berated with bad words by him.
She said that she had never guessed that he was gay until one day she wasn't feeling too well and decided to meet with a doctor.
After doing some tests, he results stated that she had a sexually transmitted disease (STD) called pelvic inflammatory disease.
She said even then she did not suspect that her husband was having sexual relations with another man she thought that he was just pleasing himself because she had once found some lube in the room and when she questioned him he didn't answer her.
Gradually her STD had gotten worse and she required further treatment at the hospital and later the doctor informed her the real source of the infection and told her that her husband may be cheating.
Apparently, before she got married, a friend of hers told her that her husband was in and LGBT group and she told him that she wanted to break up because she didn't want to be a burden in his life and she didn't want to be emotionally affected.
She only stayed in the marriage because of her family and she still thought that he would change.
Finally, she made the decision to leave her husband.
