Responding promptly to the emergency, Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Department Chief, Deputy Fire Marshal I, Ordine Gilu, reported receiving a distress call at 8:58 PM. A team of personnel, including officers equipped with the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS), was swiftly dispatched to the funfair location.
Upon arrival, EMRS members provided initial medical treatment to the injured victims before transferring them to Queen Elizabeth Hospital (HQE) for further medical attention. The entire operation, from the emergency response to medical assistance, concluded at 9:40 PM.
