A 25-year-old woman with the surnamed Li in the Xinxiang City of China excessively dieted to lose weight after her boyfriend commented on her body shape. However, she lost control and ate 10 buns, 4 chicken legs, 3,000 millilitres (3 litres) of milk tea, and 30 ice cream bars. After overeating, she fell sick and visited Xinxiang Central Hospital. Yang Yali, the gastroenterologist at the Xinxiang Central Hospital was shocked after he saw the CT scan because he had never seen such a big stomach. He pointed out that the woman's stomach has been enlarged to the position of the pelvic cavity and the rest of the organs could not be seen in the CT scan. If there is a perforation or acute stomach rupture, there is a risk of life to her.
