WATCH: Five-Year-Old Child Successfully Nails Khairul Aming's Crispy Thai Pancake Recipe, Leaving Adults In Awe

During Ramadan, it's common for many people to challenge themselves to cook meals from scratch, often inspired by simple recipes shared by influencers like Khairul Aming. This year, however, a surprising twist emerged: while many tried and failed to follow his recipes, one young child managed to create a flawless Crispy Thai Pancake KA a recipe that some adults couldn't get right.

The video that sparked the buzz was shared by the child's mother on TikTok (@nurfatirahpauzi), showing her five-year-old child, Ali, preparing the recipe from start to finish. Not only did Ali handle the ingredients with remarkable skill, but they also made the dish with impressive precision for someone so young.

Ali started by cracking the eggs and using a knife to slice the bananas. The banana slices were thin and beautifully cut, exactly as the recipe required. Instead of a rolling pin, Ali cleverly used a water bottle to flatten the instant paratha bread, demonstrating an inventive approach to cooking.

The child then arranged the banana slices, dipped in egg, neatly on top of the paratha before folding it into a rectangle. But it didn't stop there Ali also cooked the paratha on the stove, placing a little butter in the pan before adding the paratha. With a bit of help from their mother, Ali flipped the paratha to ensure it was cooked on both sides.

The final touch was adding a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk, and the pancake was ready to be devoured. Ali's ability to follow the recipe was so effortless that it made the process seem simple. "To Khairul Aming, I did it!" Ali proudly declared after completing the dish.

Ali's mother explained that the child had seen Khairul Aming's recipe online and had asked to make the dish themselves. Rather than doing it for Ali, the mother decided to let Ali try cooking the dish independently, and the results were impressive.

The video quickly gained attention, with many praising Ali's culinary skills. Some even joked that Khairul Aming should enlist Ali's help in teaching adults who struggled to follow the recipe. Khairul Aming himself commented humorously, asking if Ali could guide the adults who failed at making the recipe.

Viewers also admired how carefully Ali arranged the banana slices on the paratha, as opposed to simply pouring the egg mixture all at once. It was clear that Ali had paid attention to every detail.

In response to the viral success, some people even suggested that Khairul Aming create a 30-day recipe challenge specifically for children, given the number of adults struggling with his recipes.

The whole episode left many social media users both impressed and somewhat embarrassed. The idea that a young child could follow a recipe more easily than many adults was both heartwarming and a little humbling for those who had failed to replicate the dish themselves.
