A devastating incident occurred on the Gua Musang-Kuala Krai Road resulting in the tragic death of a seven-month-old baby girl after the vehicle she was traveling in with her parents caught fire following a collision with a lamp post early this morning.
The victim, identified as Wan Sabeena Arisha Wan Shahrizat, was found charred near the Honda Jazz car that was involved in the harrowing incident.
According to Mohd Fadzil Musa, Operations Officer of the Kuala Krai Fire and Rescue Department (BBP), an emergency call was received at 4:04 AM alerting them to the accident. Details revealed that the Honda Jazz, carrying three children, veered off the road, collided with a lamp post, and subsequently burst into flames.
The aftermath of the collision resulted in severe burns to Wan Shahrizat Azwan Wan Shahril, 28, and minor injuries to his wife, Nur Hasidah Razmi, 25. Sadly, their seven-month-old baby was discovered charred near the car, as mentioned in a statement shared on Facebook today.
The baby's charred body was handed over to the police for further investigations, while her parents were promptly rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
