A Grab rider was left traumatized after a customer made unwarranted sexual advances during what he thought was an ordinary delivery.
Screenshots of the exchange were posted on a social news page on Twitter, revealing that the customer initially requested the rider to call him upon arrival. However, the conversation took a disturbing turn when the customer asked if the rider was interested in engaging in sexual activities.
The customer went as far as offering an empty room downstairs for privacy. Despite the unwanted advances, the rider remained professional and responded by instructing the customer to take their food.
Although there were limited details provided regarding the incident, it is important to acknowledge that cases of sexual harassment towards food delivery riders, albeit rare, have indeed occurred before. Such unacceptable behavior from customers must be strongly condemned.
