In a recent incident that went viral online, user @AnotherErys shared his unpleasant experience with a Grab driver who not only refused to pick him up but also exhibited rude behavior during the interaction.
According to the tweets, @AnotherErys encountered a Grab driver who initially accepted the pick-up request but later refused to proceed. In the Grab messaging platform, the driver justified his decision by claiming that the distance was too far, and he would only earn RM4.80 for such a trip. He then insisted that he would only consider going if he were paid RM10, stating that his car runs on petrol, not water.
When @AnotherErys requested the driver to cancel the ride, he declined, shifting the blame onto Grab for the inconvenience. The driver then added insult to injury by expressing his intention to go to sleep instead, emphasizing that he wouldn't be at a loss by not picking up the passenger.
Frustrated by the unprofessional conduct, @AnotherErys took to Twitter to vent about the incident, describing the driver's behavior and expressing his disappointment with the service.
