Is Netflix turning into a gaming platform?
Apparently, yes. The streaming giant has confirmed that it will be expanding its brand into a broader branch of entertainment— specifically the gaming category.
Netflix is said to be focusing mainly on mobile games, all of which will be included in the subscription price, which means: they are completely free for its loyal subscribers. They will also include in-app purchases for their mobile games, among other things.
According to Netflix, this little project has been in the works for quite some time, and after subsequently losing quite a big number of subscribers due to pandemic which, sadly, has halted so many of their original series; it will certainly be interesting whether this big move will help Netflix soar to the top once again, or vice versa.
