And another one bites the dust...
A show about badass nuns fighting against evil was released on Netflix in 2020, and after it's second season premier at the beginning of November this year, reports have stated that the show will not be coming back for a season 3.
Ive just found out that @netflix will not be renewing #WarriorNun - my sincere appreciation to all the fans who worked so hard to bring awareness to this series, and for the love you showed me, the cast and the whole production team. I see you and I love you.
It was all for you.
Im forever grateful.
The show received some pretty high ratings for both its seasons, and yet reached its demise much sooner than anticipated.
Mourning over the loss of a good show, netizens have since called out the worldwide streaming platform for being homophobic.
The show only adding to a long list of cancelled shows, many seem to be convinced that certain Netflix serieses are being cancelled simply for representing the LGBTQ community.
Here's a few comparisons/rants which have been made.
what do all these shows have in common i wonder. pic.twitter.com/zlKuegVehW
