If you happen to have missed Apple's biggest announcement of the year AKA the WWDC and are most curious about the new exciting updates that iOS 6 will be ushering in, you've come to the right place.
Aside from the shiningly new Apple products announced to be released soon, the iOS 16 updates are arguably just as much a spotlight grabber as the rest of them. Without further ado, let's explore:
1. Your lock screen just got A LOT better!
With iOS 16, your iPhone's lock screen is getting more freedom in expression. The multilayered effect on your lock screen against the subject of your photos, courtesy of iOS 16, will emulate the illusion of depth, signaling a much more versatile lock screen upgrade. The date and the time will also be completely customizable with various type styles and color choices.
:- Notifications got a new makeover too!
On your lock screen, notifications will now be arranged in such a way that they will be rolled up from the bottom, to ensure a more uncluttered arrangement of notifications and heads-ups.
-: Introducing, Focus:
Focus is a feature that allows users to tie a Lock Screen wallpaper and widgets to a particular well.. Focus. To activate a particular Focus, simply swipe to the corresponding Lock Screen. For instance, you can navigate through apps like Calendar, Mail, Messages, and Safari on a specific Focus layout and practice separation between work and leisure, or whatever you wish to divide your attention on to avoid brain clutter.
2. Better Photos arrangement!
Four words --- iCloud Shared Photo Library, and it sounds exactly like it is! Photosharing just got a lot more convenient with iOS 16, where up to six users can share one space to send, receive and create content in their Shared Library. Aside from that, users can also edit or favorite the shared photos or videos, which will appear in each user's Memories and Featured Photos.
3. New updates on Messages like you've never seen before!

An aid to our nightmares, iPhone users can now edit or erase recently sent messages, retrieve deleted messages and mark conversations as unread. A round of applause for this much-needed convenience! Other than that, a new feature called SharePlay is also introduced, enabling users to share songs or movies and sync the content while having conversations on iMessage.
4. Upgraded Live-Text!
Live Text in iOS 16 will now work on videos as well! It also adds the ability for users to quickly convert currency, translate text, and many more!
