Looking to declutter your shoe rack? Now's the perfect time to do it and make a difference while you're at it.
Running Lab Malaysia has launched Project Love Sneaker, a meaningful shoe donation drive running from 1 to 30 April. In collaboration with The Salvation Army Malaysia, this initiative invites you to donate your gently used sports shoes, which will be passed on to individuals in need.
As a token of appreciation, Running Lab is giving out an RM150 voucher for each eligible pair donated. These vouchers can be used towards purchasing regular-priced footwear (excluding sandals) until the end of May, but do note that they can't be combined with other offers or promotions.
Wondering what kind of shoes qualify? The donation drive is accepting:
Clean and reusable running shoes (including kids' and army-style running shoes)
Sports footwear like badminton, basketball, and football shoes
However, the following are not accepted:
Canvas shoes (e.g., Converse, Vans)
Spiked shoes, rubber shoes (like Crocs), and heavy-duty boots
Shoes that have holes, worn-out soles, or are in poor condition
You can drop off your donations at Running Lab stores in Malaysia, including outlets at 1 Utama, The Gardens Mall, and Sunway Pyramid. For a full list of participating stores, be sure to check Running Lab's official page.
So, go ahead, give your old sneakers a second life, help someone in need, and treat yourself to a fresh new pair while you're at it.
