As announced by the Minister of Defence Malaysia, Ismail Sabri Yaakob, on a live media conference today (April 16) that all sorts of Ramadan Bazaar activities will be canceled throughout the Movement Control Order (MCO). All activities included drive-thru, order online and collect, and 'tabao' were all banned.

Although these activities were initially planned to replace the traditionally held Ramadan Bazaar, due to the risk these activities posed of spreading the COVID-19, the special cabinet committee has decided to call it off after having a meeting to discuss this matter.
