In a harrowing incident last Monday, a 47-year-old man bravely drove three kilometers to the Country Homes police station after being viciously attacked and stabbed by a group of unidentified men near a fish pond in Bandar Country Homes, Gombak.
Gombak District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir, revealed that the assault occurred around 5 PM. when the victim, inside his car, was suddenly ambushed by three assailants armed with sharp weapons.

Despite the severity of the attack, the victim managed to escape and drove to seek help at the Country Homes police station. Upon arrival, the police discovered him covered in blood, promptly filing a report at the Bandar Country Homes Police Station.
Following a thorough examination, it was revealed that the victim sustained injuries, prompting on-duty police personnel to provide immediate assistance. Subsequently, he was transported to Sungai Buloh Hospital for further treatment via ambulance. The victim's injuries include wounds to the hand, back, and right shoulder, and he is reported to be in stable condition.
Noor Ariffin disclosed that the case is now under investigation under Section 324 of the Penal Code.
