Two individuals, aged 19 and 25, were apprehended in connection with a public brawl that took place in Section 28 last Sunday, as confirmed by Shah Alam District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim. The arrests were made at 3:36 AM yesterday, following a report from a 19-year-old man who asserted that he was assaulted by a group of men near a basketball court on Sunday.
In another report received at 7:05 PM on the same day, one of the suspects claimed to have been assaulted and injured by the victim. Investigations revealed that the incident originated from the victim preventing one of the suspects from having a relationship with his sister.

As a consequence, the police took two men into custody, including the initial complainant, to aid in the investigation of the case. Both individuals arrested have previous records involving drugs and crime, according to the police statement.
An early urine screening test revealed that the 25-year-old suspect tested positive for drugs. Both individuals are currently remanded for further investigation under Section 148 of the Penal Code.
