MBI is the behind-the-scenes pusher？！
Pakatan Harapan has much to do with money game company MBI? Sources said Kedah Menteri Besar Mukhriz Mahathir is going to build Kulim Airport but MBI is the behind-the-scenes pusher!
Mukhriz Mahathir has revealed few months ago that Pakatan Harapan government intended to spend RM1.6 billion to build Kulim Airport. Some overseas companies includes those infrastucture companies from Europe and china are interested in this project.
According to the sources, MBI is the behind-the-scenes pusher of Kulim Airport. MBI is actively working to introduce the well-known companies from China to the Kedah state government to assist in the construction of the airport. This company is a large-scale infrastructure company from China and has a wealth of experience in infrastructure.
Sources said this is because MBI has many properties and land banks around the airport site and Padang Serai. Kulim Airport will drive MBI's property and land prices skyrocketing.
One of the MBI project in Kuluim is MBI Desaku comprising more than 2000 units of terrace house, Semi-D, Bungalow and stores which located near the peoposed site of the Kulim Airport.
MBI is a money game company. Since money game company JJPTR crashed in 2017, many money game companies successively crashed and made a huge loss among people in Malaysia. Bank Negara has listed all money game companies in Financial Consumer Alert, included MBI, and Mface - a subsidary of MBI.
Malaysian government also arrested MBI founder Tedy Teow Wooi Huat in 2017 and a total of RM177mil in 91 MBI bank accounts was frozen. Tedy Teow was also charged for issuing digital currency without the permission of Bank Negara in May 2018. He was sentenced to a total fine of RM20 million.
Although Mukhriz Mahathir claimed that Kulim Airport will be an freight airport to meet the demand of Kulim High Tech Park, but he was not excluding to increase civil aviation in the future.
However, sources said Kulim Airport main purpose is for civil aviation due to freight will lead to low profit margin and even loss. Therefore Mukhriz Mahathir was not excluding to increase civil aviation in the future to turn Kulim Airport into a international airport for civil aviation.
Kulim Airport will strike a serious blow at Penang International Airport. People from Kulim, Seberang Peraui and Butterworth are likely to choose to use the relatively near Kulim Airport instead of Penang International Airport. There will be a seriuos negative impact on Penang aviation.
