It has been reported in Oriental Daily that, the state with the highest confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia has a recovery rate of 70%!
According to the data of the Selangor Health Department, as updated to 12 pm yesterday (April 8), Selangor has recorded a total of 1,078 confirmed cases. Meanwhile, it has also been recorded that the number of recovered cases is as high as 769 cases (71.3%) and 8 death cases.

Up till now, there are 5 red zones in Selangor, which means that these areas have recorded more than 40 cases. These zones are Hulu Langat District (359 cases); Petaling Jaya (303 cases); Klang (143 cases); Gombak (115 cases); and Sepang (58 cases).
In Hulu Langat District, there are 4 red zones:
1. Kajang (123 cases);
2. Hulu Langat (104 cases);
3. Ampang Jaya (61 cases);
4. Cheras (48 cases).
In Petaling Jaya, 3 red zones:
1. Damansara (118 cases);
2. Bandar Bukit Raja (97 cases);
3. Petaling (78 cases).
