In a tragic incident earlier today, a woman was fatally stabbed following a heated dispute with her employee at a shop located in Taman Rasi Jaya near Menglembu.
Lee Siew Lean, a 40-year-old local woman, lost her life at the scene around 10:30 AM. Additionally, two men, including the victim's male friend, sustained injuries during the altercation.
The conflict reportedly erupted between the deceased and a male employee in his 50s, who also worked at the store, revolving around financial matters related to the shop's operations.
Among those injured were a 42-year-old man, identified as the deceased woman's friend and business partner, and another shop employee.
Allegedly, the altercation turned violent when the suspect, agitated over financial issues, attacked the deceased, her male friend, and their colleague using a sharp weapon.
The suspect, who suffered an injury to his ear during the incident, has been apprehended to aid in the ongoing investigation. The area surrounding the shop was cordoned off by the police, as a crowd gathered at the premises. The victim's body was later removed by law enforcement officers.
