In a heart-wrenching incident, a healthy two-month-old infant, Qaseh Aulia Faizul, tragically passed away while under the care of a daycare center in Section 6, Kota Damansara. The young child's parents, Maisarah Rosli and Faizul Ali Adam, had entrusted their beloved baby to the facility as they went about their daily work routines, a decision that would later lead to her untimely demise.

On the second day of sending little Gaseh to the daycare center, the parents received a harrowing phone call. The daycare owner urgently informed them that their baby, Aulia, was unconscious, with a bluish face and had been swiftly transported to a nearby hospital.

Upon their arrival at the hospital, the hospital staff confirmed that Aulia had passed away, and her body was transferred to the University of Malaya Medical Center (PPUM) for a thorough post-mortem examination.

Adding to the family's anguish, a review of the daycare's closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage unveiled a deeply disturbing revelation. The footage depicted Aulia being left unattended in a prone position for an agonizing hour. She appeared to struggle in her attempt to move her head for approximately ten minutes, but gradually, her movements stopped. In that moment, Aulia had likely succumbed to her condition.

The chronological of her death has been posted by her family member, which can be viewed below, or here on x.com:

The family now awaits the results of the pending autopsy report in hopes of shedding light on the circumstances that led to this tragic event.

Meanwhile, local authorities have taken action to investigate the incident. A female caregiver, aged in her 40s, has been detained for further examination, and has been released on bail while awaiting the outcome of the post-mortem analysis. The case is under investigation according to Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001.

May the families of Qaseh Aulia remain strong in these trying times.
