Malaysian netizens took to their keyboards, expressing their disagreement and over this unlikely combination.
The tweet swiftly spread across social media, eliciting a myriad of responses from the Malaysian online community. A significant portion of netizens expressed their disapproval, with comments like, "Have the world run out of leggings?" and "Aurat is a joke to these people."

However, there were also those who came to the defense of the cabin crew member. They pointed out that her choice of attire was in line with her job requirements during a specific flight. Batik Air cabin crews do not typically wear hijabs, but in this context, the crew member was on a flight to Jeddah, a city that requires women to wear a hijab due to local customs and laws.
Many supporters of the cabin crew questioned why people were so invested in scrutinizing and commenting on what a woman chose to wear. They asked, "When will men stop bothering and questioning women about what they wear?"
