A rumor saying that a police report went viral, disclosing that a stewardess who showed symptoms of COVID-19 that was placed in an isolation room for screening in Hospital Parit Buntar fled after refusing to enter the ward at Taiping Hospital.
Police have confirmed this report that was made Monday (March 23) evening to be true.
According to mStar, the head of the police district of Kerian, Superintendent Omar Bakhtiar Yaacob mentioned to mStar that they received the report from the hospital.
Omar Bakhtiar too disclosed that the lady has yet to be tested positive for COVID-19, however, she has shown symptoms of COVID-19. He added that a full statement will be released after they solved the matter.
It was also said that the stewardess fled the scene along with her brother.
