Malaysian travellers can now use their preferred mobile banking or eWallet app to scan the QR code for participating merchants in Indonesia, Singapore, or Thailand using the QRIS (Indonesia), NETS (Singapore), or PromptPay (Thailand) services, and vice versa, as announced by DuitNow on their official website.
By scanning the DuitNow QR code while in Malaysia, visitors from these nations can now purchase and make payments with their supported mobile banking and eWallet apps as well.
