This family first caught the public's attention when the elder daughter, 17-year-old Erika uploaded a TikTok video on her Twitter (@errikaaaaaaaa) with the caption:
"Even though we are tested positive for the COVID-19, we as a family will go through this together, plus our health conditions are okay. Here's a TikTok video we made to entertain ourselves while we're at the hospital, haha."

This video went viral and this family was featured in The Star for their positivity!
The latest good news is that they have fully recovered from the disease and were allowed to go home! So to celebrate and announce this good news, Erika made another TikTok video and has it posted on her Twitter.

She too uploaded her family photo, along with the caption: Finally COVID-19 free!!
It has been reported by Sin Chew Daily that they will be undergoing a 14-day self-quarantine at home and that they will be going through a very strict quarantine process. The government will be sending them food and daily necessities.
"We are at home now, disinfecting our homes. We will reply to other people's questions about the disease," Erika added while disclosing that her father will be returning to the hospital to continue to serve while they will be going back to their usual life routine.
