While many other female celebrities love to dress in what we call the “feminine style”, Billie Eilish is always seen in oversized clothing.

If you love pop songs, you must have heard about the American singer and songwriter, Billie Eilish. She started writing songs at the age of 11 and has 6 Billboard Hot 100 top 40 singles. In the recent 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, the 18-year-old had just swept all 4 of the biggest prizes -- Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist, along with the Best Pop Vocal Album award, breaking even Taylor Swift’s record.

Now we know Eilish is super talented when it comes to making music, but her personal dressing style, too, has always been a hot topic. As all her fans know, the Bad Guy singer often makes an appearance in public in loose and baggy clothes. For example, she stepped out at the Grammys red carpet in an oversized green and black Gucci outfit.

But did you know why did she insist on wearing clothes that are - in her own words- 800 sizes larger than herself?

In an interview with Vogue Australia, Eilish revealed the reason behind her baggy clothes style. According to her, “It kinds of gives nobody the opportunity to judge what your body looks like,” she said. “I want layers and layers and layers and I want to be mysterious. You don’t know what’s underneath and you don’t know what’s on top.” It so happens that the large-sized clothing is her way to keep part of herself a ‘mystery’ from all of us.

There are many people who love to assume, criticize or even body shame others, but we should keep in mind that no one deserves to be judged because of how they dress.
